Question

Great post and description on each of the nervous systems. Both the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems work together. One calms the system and one prepares the system for danger. Taylor stated, " The sympathetic nervous system prepares the body to respond to dangers. The parasympathetic nervous system controls the activities of organs under normal circumstances" (Taylor, 2017). They keep the nervous systems in balance one from fear, stress, and anxiety and the other to bring the nervous system back to balance after the emergency.

Is there a situation you can remember where your body prepared itself for an emergency and then could feel it returning back to normal?
