Quantitative/ Qualitative

Question

In this period, a case study is provided as the basis of our discussion in identifying the focal problem. You will develop a qualitative research question and a quantitative hypothesis statement and also propose specific methods to address the focal problem in the organization. In addition, you will provide some significant insights based on biblical principles.

For the qualitative approach, you can state one central qualitative research question and two sub questions as supporting. These questions should be open-ended only to address the focal problem.

For the quantitative approach, you can state a hypothesis statement either null hypothesis or alternative hypothesis (directional form).

Examples of Hypotheses:

Null (Ho) hypothesis:

H0: There is no difference in the employee’s job satisfaction between the two groups.

H0: There is no significant relationship between variable 1 (independent) and variable 2 (dependent).

Alternative hypothesis:

H1: There is a significant difference in employee’s job satisfaction between the two groups.

H2 (directional): There is a significant positive relationship between variable 1 and variable 2.

Remember to state independent variable (predictor) first then dependent variable (outcome).

I hope that these tips are useful as you start your dialogue post. I look forward to your active engagement in this forum
