will bring may not be fully beneficial for democracy and representation. More recently in 2020,
Zhuravskaya et. al. have presented a comprehensive review of the recent scholarly work on how
the Internet and social media are shaping politics and social change across the world. Please
summarize the arguments of these articles, and discuss the evolution of the scholarship on how
the Internet and social media will alter politics and social life in the last 20 years.
