Up to 60 individuals operate jellybean-like critters and participate in activities such as obstacle courses and tag. Many different courses have been added since the game's initial release; the majority are team-based, while others require players to avoid falling into slime on a spinning, floating platform with obstacles designed to knock them in while waiting for a certain number of others to be eliminated, but the majority are obstacle courses that require players to race to the finish line as quickly as possible, lest they be eliminated—starting at 40, there are a limited number of lives available. The number of players is eventually reduced to one, and the winner is announced.
