In this lesson, we covered the listening process and factors that help or hinder that process. Review those factors if you need to before you begin this assignment and discussion.

1. Keep a record of your listening habits for two (2) days.

2. After the second day, please summarize your listening experiences by identifying some specific examples of both good and bad listening habits you recognized. Use the vocabulary of listening from the readings.

3. Review and discuss what either helped or hindered the communication process. Use content from the listening unit to make your points.  Be sure and refer to anything that you said or did to help or hinder the communication process. Use the vocabulary of listening from the readings.
