● A link to sedentary activity will be emphasized, and how glucose regulation can be accomplished with physical activity.

● The dietary pathophysiology will also be expounded upon.

● The above will be discussed in the context of peripheral insulin resistance, impaired hepatic glucose production, and declining beta cell function
