Risk management can involve almost every aspect of business. For human resources those aspects can include hiring, compensation, policies, and training. Each business decision made informs risk management on some level.

Often the perception of risk management plays a role in how management in an organization strategically plans. Human resources should always be involved in the strategic planning process so they can internally plan for hiring.
