Data Collection Method
The questionnaire will be distributed to students at my school. Participants will answer the questions anonymously. The responses can be collected using a printed questionnaire or an online form. Participation will be voluntary.
Data Analysis
The answers will be counted and converted into percentages. The results will then be presented using tables or graphs to make the information easier to understand. The most common answers will be compared to identify students' general opinions about the Industrial Revolution.
Results and Discussion
The expected results are that most students will recognize the steam engine and railways as important developments of the Industrial Revolution. Many students are also expected to believe that modern factories and mass production are directly connected to industrial developments from the past.
The questionnaire may also show that students consider child labour, poor working conditions, and pollution to be some of the most serious negative effects of the Industrial Revolution. Most participants may agree that modern technology has improved productivity and working conditions while continuing many of the basic ideas introduced during the Industrial Revolution.
Conclusion
The questionnaire shows that the Industrial Revolution remains an important part of understanding the modern economy. Its inventions and developments changed production, transportation, trade, and employment. Although modern technology is much more advanced, many industries still use the basic principles of mechanization, mass production, and efficient transportation that developed during the Industrial Revolution.
Recommendations
Students should learn about both the positive and negative effects of the Industrial Revolution. Understanding its history can help them understand modern industries, technology, workers' rights, and the global economy. Schools could also use practical examples from modern factories and businesses to show how ideas from the Industrial Revolution continue to influence our lives today.
