Basically the title. Looking for a rough overview of how the endocrine and nervous systems work together. 150-300 words

The endocrine and nervous system work together to respond to stimuli. The nervous system allows your body to sense stimuli from the outside world (examples of stimuli can be a smell, touching something, etc.). The nervous system consists of the brain, spine, and sensory organs. When the nervous system notices a stimuli, it notifies the endocrine system. The endocrine system, which consists of glands throughout the body, releases hormones to help regulate the body and in response to a stimulus.
The endocrine and nervous system, ideally, want to maintain homeostasis in your body (a state of "normal", where everything from your pH to temperature is in a "normal" range).
 
A quick example would be:
nervous system sensing excitement (through smell, touch, w/e) --> nervous system notifies endocrine system --> endocrine system releases epinephrine (adrenale) --> epinephrine causes the heart to beat faster which gives a boost of energy when they are excited

The nervous system senses and controls every part of your body through its many nerves. Sensory receptors located throughout your body constantly send info through your nerves to your brain. Your brain digests this information, decides on appropriate action, and then responds with the action through different nerves that control your muscles/
The endocrine system consists of a bunch of glands that produce and secrete hormones that make their way into your bloodstream. Once there bloodstream, these hormones travel through your body and cause specific actions whenever they encounter cells that display compatible receptors.
While the nervous system takes care of all the cells directly, the endocrine system uses your bloodstream to take care of them. The nervous system is much faster than the endocrine.
