Conflict Scenario:
You have three employees wanting to take the weekend off (Saturday and Sunday). The restaurant is open from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm daily. You can only afford to have one employee with the weekend off. Sarah is supposed to attend her cousin's wedding on Saturday night since she is a bridesmaid in the wedding. Joe has committed to a dirt bike competition on Sunday 2 hours away in Sacramento and loses his $150 entry fee if he doesn't compete. Joanna is supposed to get trained in CPR both days of the weekend as she needs this for her EMT degree she is pursuing. No one can seem to decide who should get the weekend off. As the manager of the group, explain how you would use the three tips for conflict resolution to decide who gets the weekend off.
