A business research is a process that enables acquisition of detailed information in all business areas that will enable maximization of sales and profits to the business. Through the research, companies will determine the most profitable services and products that are in demand in the market. The research may be done quantitavely or qualitatively through designated methods that may include: survey, correlational research, experimental, interviews, used of focus groups and ethnographic research. Case study researches may also be used by business managements to comparatively gauge the business with other businesses (Joe, 2019, p. 19).
The research if well conducted has several advantages to the business entities. Through the research, business opportunities and threats will be identified and encountered for n problem solving and wise decision making. The information will ensure proper customer understanding within the industry.
