Many sports fans are very much against the ads that are show on the team’s jerseys, feeling as though advertisements are already everywhere and many feel they should not have to be exposed to advertising while watching sports. The Maple leaf Sports and Entertainment (owner of the Raptors franchise) and Sun Life Financial have a agreed on a deal of sponsorship to raise awareness of type 2 diabetes. And while there is the matter of 5 million dollars per year for the Raptors, it can’t be said that Sun life is not getting something valuable from them: exposure. But the Raptors have to come up with some sort of agreement that will benefit the team and the sponsors.  

What are some strategic options they can use?
