Question

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

What a wonderful reminder as we begin the one course in your program that most students have been dreading. However, the very best way to begin this course is with prayer. You may be feeling anxious and that is normal. Yet, God tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Remember that prayer and thanksgiving bring peace. They always work together to calm anxiety. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience His peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

This course will take hard work, and as with anything worthwhile, it will take time, attention, and dedication. Remember your relationship with our Father and don't worry about anything; instead, pray and give thanks for everything and you will do just fine.
