As Corey indicates, existentialism deals with the reality of our human existence, trying to balance the tragedies in life and the possibilities/opportunities we have as humans.  Things happen because we are human!  However, as a result of these happenings, we change.  In fact, we are constantly changing, trying to make sense of our world.  As Christians, we realize that we have a God who helps us to make sense of what is happening and who has promised to never leave us.  Existentialism has given us several propositions, which try to answer some of the questions we have as humans and which we consider as Christians.
