With Judaism we move from what Prothero describes as the "religions of release" and into what he calls the "religions of repair," suggesting that we might be looking at a set of religions with fundamentally different structures. What do you anticipate to be the significant differences in these religions especially with Judaism? Do you think this classification of "release" and "repair" is helpful or not? Why or why not?
