Question

As with many technologies, certifications are available.  Read about the TERP-10 certification https://training.sap.com/course/terp10-sap-erp-integration-of-business-processes-classroom-017-us-en/

Find another article about TERP 10 certification or other ERP certifications and post those articles.

Preparation for these certifications is quite involved.  At other schools that teach ERP and SAP systems, they offer a TERP-10 preparation class.  Would that be popular at BGSU?  What class in your major would you replace with a TERP-10 prep course?

Here is student's post need to response:

I think a TERP-10 preparation class would be popular. Gaining a certification while still in school would make us very marketable and appealing to employers. It is a class I would take if it was offered. I don't necessarily think that it should replace a class, but rather be offered as an elective. I think every student in the College of Business would benefit from a course like this because we will likely all work at a company in which we will have to interact with an ERP. However, I think a TERP-10 prep class would build off of what we learn in this class, so maybe this class would have to be a prerequisite for the prep course, or this course and the prep course be merged together in some way. All in all, I think it would be very beneficial because it would broaden our knowledge of ERPs as well as boost our resumes.
