While many organizations offer a variety of training opportunities for employees, you may have been involved in training that you felt was a waste of time. To avoid offering (or requiring) training that does not meet the needs of the organization and/or employees a needs assessment is a good place to start. Completing a needs assessment helps to eliminate creating training that does not specifically address missing skills.

Based the reading for the week and your own research, consider the company you work at or a company you know well and do a basic needs assessment.
After completing the assessment, provide a short analysis of how well training at the selected organization aligns with the needs assessment.
