social psychology response

Question

Objective: Discuss how social psychology impacts our thoughts, values, and actions.

As we reflect on the many concepts presented in Chapter 11 in our textbook, a biblical worldview is vital. There are many social inequities that create unrest and discord in today’s world. Some of these beliefs are influenced by society and others are indicative of the condition of our heart. As we go deeper into concepts related to social psychology, the following video sheds some additional light. Does race, ethnicity, culture, socio-economic status influence your perceptions of other people? How does this video challenge your previous assumptions as well as your biblical worldview? And what about the Answers in Genesis article? And what connections can be made to this week’s devotional from Ezekiel 37:1-4?
