Step 2. Complete the reflection paper (Each part 1, 2 & 3 are worth 50 points)
Part 1 - Kouzes & Posner's Leadership Model (10 Commitments of Leadership)
Read the attached information on Kouzes & Posner's leadership Model. Use Exhibit One - Ten commitments of leadership to answer this question.(I attached it as a file)Give an example from the film when you witnessed Coach Dale exhibit each of the 5 practices of the "Ten Commitments of Leadership." He did demonstrate each of the 10 commitments. So you are listing the five practices i.e. Challenging the Process, Inspiring a Shared Vision, Enabling Others to Act, Modeling the Way & Encouraging the Heart and listing the two commitment examples for each of the five practices.
Part 2 - Power
Describe an example of Power used by Coach Dale in the film. -(I attached as file:Hoosiers notes for..) 1. Analyzing Coach Dale's character, identify which if any of the various types of servant leadership did you witness Coach Dale exhibit in the film. Use chapter 8 of your textbook(* I attached it as a file) to help you with your analysis. Reflect on each type of servant leadership and explain whether you witnessed it in the film or not and then explain why or why not.
